Heyyy..!
Who agrees that it is really exciting to go on a spontaneous trip with great companies, be it friends or families..? Well this post would be about my spontaneous short escape to Cornwall with my friends.
It was the 7th August when we went to this beautiful place called Cornwall, my friends from Bristol rented 2 cars and we drove from Bristol to Cornwall. The day before we prepared some food for our lil picnic. There was chickens, nuggets, and fried rice.. yummm!! Thank you to those who made the food!! It was really exciting to go on a spontaneous trip with great friends.
The drive was about 2 hours 30 mins plus minus another 30 minutes for toilet breaks and petrol breaks. There were total of 9 people , the first car – Shivendra( driver), Sireen, Syafiq and me
Whereas in the second car – Alif, Mohsin, Rahman, Liyana and Fendi
Our first toilet stop was at Woodleigh Coach Guest House, it was such a pretty lil place..
Second stop was I think because we were lost!
After a bit of driving we arrived our first stop!! OH MY GOD!! Ya Allah!! The view was amazing!!
And sooo… the picture taking has began!! There’s so many pictures to share.. so enjoy!!
We had to go through these sharp and torny bush in order to have our picnic!!
The next stop was, Kynance Cove.
It was just about 6 mins away from where we were.. This was another mesmerizing place!! There, we are able to swim!!! Staying in London and Bristol, do you people know how much we all missed the beach?? SOOO MUCH!! We were so excited!! the boys decided to swim!! I wished I could too!!
After a few hours of fun under the hot sun and enjoying the smell of the beach we headed to our next destination.. St Michael’s Mount! Another beautiful place!!
Since it was high tide, We could not really cross the bridge toward the castle.. However, there is always a time for posing and picture snapping no matter whether the tide is high or low.. 😛
Our next destination was the Minack Theatre, Cornawall.
Unfortunately, we arrived just after 5.30pm and visiting hour that day was a bit earlier as they had a show. It’s okay.. there will still be another day to visit that place..
After just hanging around for the toilet breaks, we headed to Land’s End!! I L.O.V.E it there!!
This was before we went for the sunset walk..
Our short walk, while looking for the perfect spot to chill..
The view.. Ya Allah! There’s no words to describe this place.. It is just so beautiful!
And our walk continued..
Finally, just the spot we wanted..
The perfect last sunset together..
Our trip ended perfectly with a beautiful firework show just before midnight.. I really enjoyed myself that day.. there were so much laughter with them lots..
At the same time it was quite an emotional trip. This is basically my friends from Bristol are going back to Malaysia for good by the end of this year (they have already completed their courses)..
To make the long story cut short.. Our friendship started last year (2013) in Lynmouth, this year (2014) we went for a day trip to Cornwall and Lands End, which is the same ocean that witness how we got close in 2013. Although this would eventually be our last trip together, I hope our friendship last forever. Good luck all of you in whatever you do, especially once you start working.. Thank you for the great memories for the past few months together..
